| 25th in Sun Sity ! Jimmy Brands became 25th on the final race in South Africa. His Pigeon "Paramount Chief" became the 2nd Belgian pigeon, after the Houben fam. With this result Jimmy also is 2nd in "the National Champion competition", including the prize money. "Paramount Chief's" father is "Chippendale", 1e prov. Montauban 2008. "Chippendale" is a halfbrother to "De Kleine". |

First of all, welcome to the official website of Brands Jimmy! The technology does not stand still, neither does the technology in the pigeonsport. That's why I have chosen to put myself and my pigeons on the Internet, on my personal website. Maybe this is the way for everybody on the Internet to learn more about me, my pigeons, and how I practice the pigeon sport.
I already live for 30y in Berendrecht on the current address, in the North-west of Antwerp.
Here I've started to race pigeons in 1980, when I was 32 years old.
My father, Jos Brands, was a feared short and middle distance racer.
In 1976 my mother past away, and I started to help my father with the pigeons.
From that time, my interest in the pigeon sport grew every day.
A few years later, I started racing pigeons on my own adress on the middle and long distance. In 1997,
I became the overall champion in the Antwerp Flying Club and from then on, it only went better and better, with the best results in 2000
KBDB national Champion on the long distance. In 2001 I became 7th in the national championship long distance.
My basic couple is a cock with Tournier strain from Gebr. Widurski through Jos Verkuyl from Putte in Holland,
and a hen from a crossing of the "Van Hout" type (NL) and Etienne Devos (Deerlijk). Both pigeons were from 1993, and are no longer in my loft.
They are the parents of "Museeuw", which succeeded to win 2 provincial victories,
namely Dax & Narbonne. In addition, the basic pair are also the parents and/or grandparents of the 1st prov. Perpignan, 3rd prov. Perpignan,
2x 3rd prov. Dax, and other provincial and national top ranking pigeons. You can find further information on the basic pair and my other pigeons at
